Why this mobile library page exists
This is the mobile library guide for Edutron School ERP. It is written for librarians and teachers who open library records from a phone browser during issue hours, stock checks, or overdue follow-up, instead of only from a desktop in the library room.
The full library module still stores accession numbers, titles, authors, members, due dates, fines, and reports in the main school ERP. This page explains the same work in a shorter, mobile-oriented form.
Library tasks that work well on a phone
- Search a title, author, subject, or accession number
- Confirm whether a copy is available or already issued
- Record issue and return against a student or staff member
- See overdue books and due dates before the next period
- Check member borrowing history during a parent query
What the school should configure first
A usable library setup needs a catalog, member records linked to students and staff, issue duration rules, and fine settings if the school charges overdue amounts. When those records live in Edutron, a librarian can continue issue-return work from a phone if the desktop is busy.
Reports for stock, circulation, and class-wise reading still belong in the main library module. Use this page as the mobile explanation of catalog search, issue, return, and overdue tracking.
